ALBUM FAQ

WHAT ARE YOUR TURNAROUND TIMES?

Matted Albums       4-5 Weeks

Museum Cases       4 Weeks

Matted Slipcases    3 Weeks

Double Folios         3 Weeks

DO YOU OFFER A SAMPLE DISCOUNT?

Yes we do. When you call to place your order we can apply our 15% Sample Discount to your order!

DO YOU HAVE FABRIC SWATCHES AVAILABLE?

Yes we do. If you order a sample album we will include the matching swatch sample at no cost. You can also call us to purchase them $8 per product sample sheet or $27 for all the sample sheets (4 total).

WHAT PAPER IS IN YOUR ALBUMS?

You can use our Standard Prints or Archival Prints in the Matted Album and Double Folio, except our Deckled Prints. You can use any of our papers in the Museum Cases and Matted Slipcase. If you use matted Deckled Prints in the Museum Case or Matted Slipcase, then it will hold fewer prints because we have to use 3 mat boards for matted deckled prints vs 2 mat boards for traditionally matted prints.

ANY PLANS FOR A NON-MATTED ALBUM?

Yes. We plan on figuring out a non-matted album that we can offer later this year. We will be exploring different paper options and different construction techniques to create a non-matted album up to our standards.

HOW LONG WILL THE PRINTS LAST IN YOUR ALBUMS?

All of our papers will last over 100 years in our albums and enclosures. Our Archival Papers will last over 200 years in our albums and enclosures. Prints in dark storage last much longer because they are not having to absorb UV light like a print displayed on a wall.

CAN YOU DO MULTIPLE MAT OPENINGS PER PAGE?

We can not with our current Matted Album. We will explore a larger Matted Album and see if it's possible to do multiple mat openings without our prints being scuffed.

CAN WE CHOOSE OUR OWN LINEN COMBINATIONS?

Yes you can. The two exceptions are the BRONZE and EGGPLANT Linens can not be used on the outside of Albums due to their fragility.

Do you offer mats in other colors?

No. We only offer white mats.

Do you COAT YOUR PRINTS?

We spray our matte papers with Hahnemühle Protective Spray, which helps protect the print from UV light and fingerprints. This coating absorbs into the papers and allows the matte papers to still retain their matte finish. The Hahnemühle Protective Spray does not block all UV light and does not prevent all fingerprints and scuffs.
Our Lustre, Satin and Platine have a resin coat on them, so we don't spray them.
